How is the age calculated?
It's a calendar-aware subtraction (the same way you'd count it by hand on a calendar) not a rough estimate like total days divided by 365.25. That keeps leap years and different month lengths accurate.
Can I calculate age as of a past or future date?
Yes. Change the 'as of' date to anything other than today, for example to work out someone's age on a specific future event date.
What if the 'as of' date is before the date of birth?
The result is left blank in that case, since a negative age isn't meaningful.
